The Newborn Session is a unique and special session. Newborn Sessions should take place in the first three weeks of life, if possible. Please contact me during pregnancy to set up an appointment. Newborn Sessions will take place at your home with immediate family only, please. Babies younger than 3 months will require a Newborn Session, due to the time, attention and equipment they require to ensure a successful session.
The Newborn Session fee includes Holland’s time and talent, 2-3 hours of on location shooting time, extensive props and equipment, the time required for post processing (to retouch and hand-edit each image) and an online proofing gallery of approximately 25-30 images for one week.
Newborn Sessions typically take longer than other sessions (anywhere from 2-3 hours) to allow time for feedings, diaper changes, soothing, etc. Sibling and family shots are encouraged at this session. Clients may select and purchase prints, products and digital files a la carte, or purchase a print collection. Minimum a la carte order (including prints & files) is $350.
